I recently went to Myrtle Beach on the 19th through the 23rd. The trip there seemed like nothing compared to what it used to be. Maybe its because I’m used to sitting around and waiting (my job as Gas Clerk and boring 5 hour biology classes)

I hadn’t been to Myrtle Beach in 3 years and it’s been 5 years since I went with my family. It has really changed a lot. They’re tearing a lot of stuff down, building a lot of new hotels, and we got to see the Pavilion one more time before they tear it down.

The most memorable moments of the trip are:

1.Making wigs out of the seaweed found in the ocean
2.The guy at Broadway with bubba teeth, a fake dog humping his leg, dorky glasses, and a fake butt who harassed people walking by his gag gift shop.
3.The live tigers at Barefoot Landings
4.The KISS coffee shop (we read a sign that said Gene and Paul were going to be there to cut the ribbon and a KISS Army concert was supposed to take place in 5 days, Charlie was PO’ed that he wasn’t going to get to see it)
5.The dead sea turtle that washed up on the shore (actually, I’d like to forget about it...it wasn’t a pretty sight)
6.The great seafood at Nance’s that cost my dad a fortune.
7.I could go on and on. It was a great trip.

I would go into more detail about everything but I don’t like to write.

Alas, my poor neglected live journal. As you know, I’ve been cheating on you with My Space and I’ve been spending more time with my first love, Deviantart. However I still love you, Live Journal and I wanted to stop by and tell you a few things.

First off, I have finally decided on the direction I am going to go in college. I am going to be a High School Art teacher by majoring in art and I am going to get by minor in computer application as a secondary thing to teach (you have to do that in order teach art related classes). With a direction in mind it will be much easier for me to concentrate on what I need to do and I will be a lot less Emo from this day forth. I am currently taking an orientation to teaching class, in which I am the only male, besides the prof., maybe I will get a girl friend or maybe I will just continue to be a lonely dork, either way, whatever.

In Nerd News:

As I was searching for footage to make a music video for “Styx - Mr. Roboto” with Astro Boy clips I came a across a page that was talking in full detail about an up coming, cgi, Astro Boy movie that’s supposed to be coming out next year…SWEET!!...It’s going to be directed by the same guy who made Dexter’s Lab, Samuri Jack, and Star Wars: Clone Wars! Also it’s going to be worked on by the same production company that made Spider-Man 2!
It’s pretty ironic too, because I was just thinking how cool it would be if they made a CGI AstroBoy movie, and now they are.
Genndy Tartakovsky (the director I just mentioned) is also working with Disney on a sequel to the Dark Crystal.

KH2 ARRIVES TOMORROW!!!!?!!11 Last time I talked to Game Stop they said it wasn't coming out till Friday but I just got a telephone call from Game Stop in a Steven Hawkingish voice telling me the good news!!
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that last Friday this dude named Josh in my Biology class gave me one of those KH2 cardboard storefront standups. WEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Today, after class I went ahead and paid for KH2 (in case I don't have the money when it comes out). I also reserved for the special edition strategy guide (that's like 380 pages long and comes with an art book).
14 days till it hits the shelf. I have an early class that day so I'll be able to go to the mall before Gamestop opens. I'll probably walk a few laps with the old folks who are always there early in the morning making Chick Fillet work triple-overtime.

Also, late last night before I went to bed, I made my first piece of computer animation. It's by no means impressive in anyway but it's a start. Here's a link to it.

Last night I accidently deleted 3 years worth of photos taken with my digital camera I had saved on a CD-R...CRAP! Does anybody know of any good file recovery programs?

Today I took a nap and opened my eyes while I was asleep and couldn't move, it was so freaky! Also when I woke up I was kinda disoriented and thought it was morning. I swear I'm not on drugs. It must be all the stress I'm under right now.

I feel like ten kinds of awesome right now. I just finished a major research paper that's worth 30% of my grade. It's such a relief, I've been so worried about it. Also, spring break starts the 6th and I am going to finally get to relax a little (if my biology professor doesn't assign me a butt-load of work).

Oh yeah and 28 MORE DAYS TILL KH2!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! (pees in pants)

The reason I haven't posted a journal entry in a while is mainly because I've had this paper that's worth like 1/2 of my grade and I've been so stressed out about it that I haven't been able to do much of anything else. But after talking to my mom on the phone (who is now with my dad celebrating their wedding anniversary), she prayed for me, and I quickly began brainstorming and got it finished (well mostly, I still got to organize my sources and junk). It feels so good to have gotten that much done.

In Nerd News:

I recently rented Zathura and Sky High. Now I figured Zathura would be really good and that Sky High would be very corny but it was the other way around. I know Sky High looks like it would be as crappy as a "made for tv" Disney movie but it was freaken' awesome. Zathura on the other hand had bad child actors and the storyline really didn't make any sense. Other than that, the concept of the movie was good. I just wished they done more with it.

I haven't updated in while now. I've been dealing with depression, then the cold, then overwhelming stress, then chronic slothfulness, and now I'm just there.

In Nerd News:
I recently bought Astro Boy: Omega Factor for the GBA (IT ROCKS!!) and I also found a live-action Gundam Wing movie called "G-Savior" at Big Lots for $2.99. It's not a half-bad movie.
